Syniverse Developer Community Quick Start Guide

Quick start

The Syniverse Developer Community is your gateway to Syniverse solutions. Please follow the Quick Start process to create an application , retrieve your access token and send your first API request.

 

1. Click "Sign-up" on top right navigation of the site.

      1. Enter requested information
      2. If you already know which Company you want to join and have an invite code for the Company, enter that into the field "Company invite code"
      3. Read and Accept Terms of Service
      4. Check the reCAPTCHA box that you are not a robot
      5. Click "Create profile"

2. Check your email for confirmation link.

      1. Click link in email
      2. Verify your user credentials

3. Click the "Login" and use the credentials you created in Step 1.

 

Ready to start?

1. Upon successful account creation, Syniverse Voice & Messaging service offering is automatically enabled on your account with a $5/- trial credit to try out our omni-channel API.

Note : If you are interested in any other Syniverse service offerings, submit a request through your account team representative or sales engineer to provision the requested service offering.

CREATING your first Application

      1. Click "New application".
      2. Give your Application a unique name and description., Click Save.
      3. Select the "Initial account for [Your username]" as the Account from drop down menu. 
      4. Click "Save".
      5. Locate you application on the 'Applications' listing page and click on it.
      6. Locate "Auth Keys" and click on it to display your credentials to make API calls.
      7. Copy and store keys into in a safe place for use later as access tokens to make API requests.
      8. Locate the APIs and click on it, it will display all the APIs enabled under the newly created application.

Re-generating your API Keys 

For re-generating your API credentials i.e. Auth Keys - use the edit application option by clicking on the gear icon in the right hand side corner.

  1. Locate you application on the 'Applications' listing page and click on it.
  2. Click on the gear icon on the top right hand side and select the 'Edit' option to put the application in edit mode.
  3. Locate "Auth Keys" and click on it to display your credentials to make API calls.
  4. User Re-Generate button to regenerate your Auth Keys.
