Can I send messages to a group of recipients all at once with a Public channel?

SCG supports messages to a group of recipients all at once using a Public Channel. There are however restrictions in place to ensure a fair use of this feature. 

  1. Customers may not send bulk messaging to more than 1000 recipients in any single message request.
  2. Customers need to make sure that recipients have opted in to receiving these messages
  3. Delivery of messages using the Public channels is based on best-effort
  4. If customers have a need to send to >1000 recipients, they can create multiple contact groups and send individual requests to each contact group.  For more information on how to use Contact groups, see Contact groups
